Tips from me: Don't try to increase your distance and speed at the same time. If you feel you are making progress, try and increase your distance first. After you increase your distance, you can try and increase your speed.

2. Walking Around Town Or Parks.

If you dislike jogging, find it difficult, or have joint problems, you should try walking as a form of home exercise. There have been some studies which show that walking can be even more beneficial for losing weight than running.

Also, it is definitely easier and safer. Therefore, this is a great alternative. Apart from it being easier and possibly more benefitial, it can be a great way to socialize or explore new parts of town.

When you are walking, you should keep a constant pace. Remember, you shouldn’t walk too slow, the main point is to lose weight here, therefore make it a little more demanding.

3. Training With Weights.

Weight training is not just for packing on muscles. It is also excellent for weight loss, and it is a simple home exercise. You don't have to go anywhere; all you have to do is train with a weight.

With weight training, you can burn calories up to 48 hours after you train. This after burn effect is very well known and a great reason to weight-train. A lot of people who want to lose weight don’t even think about lifting weights.

Women, especially, avoid lifting weights because they believe this activity is specifically for packing on muscles and they don’t want to look too masculine. If you think this way, you should erase that thought from your mind.

You feel the breeze in your head. You can explore different places. Since cycling is great for burning calories, is fun and is very accessible, the motivation to ride a bike is high. 

It is a sport that is very easy to enjoy and to develop into a habit. Another great thing about cycling is that it is easy to set goals that will make you go out there and do better.
